Taking a Detour

If you’ve followed my journey for a while, you know how much running means to me. It’s my therapy, my challenge, my confidence-booster. So it’s tough to share that I’ve injured my knee — again. It’s frustrating, disappointing, and honestly, a little scary to hit pause on something that’s been such a big part of my life.

But if running has taught me anything, it’s that setbacks don’t mean stopping. They mean rerouting.

While I won’t be logging any miles for a while, I’ll be channeling my energy into this page — writing more, sharing reflections, and continuing to connect with all of you (shout out to my Ohio readers). This blog has always been about more than just running. It’s about growth, grit, and finding meaning in every mile (or in this case, every moment of rest).

So whether you’re here for the race recaps, the life updates, or just a reminder that we’re all figuring it out — thank you. I hope you’ll stick around for whatever comes next.

Right on!
