5K in New York: The City That Runs You
I woke up before sunrise, buzzing with the kind of energy only New York can give you. The city outside was still half asleep, but I wasn’t. I was ready to run. As soon as I pushed through the revolving door, a blast of cold air hit me straight in the face. Instinctively, I just sprinted, partly to warm up, partly because I couldn’t wait to see what the city had waiting for me. My route looped around lower Manhattan, a mix of skyscrapers, history, and the smell of fresh bagels
